Default Rear Clunk due to exhaust crossover bracket?

Looking for some help as I Bought a 03 Screamin Eagle Road King and had it start to make a clunk on me when I hit sharp bumps or the suspension hits fast if that makes sense. On the road the suspension works good, anyways after trying to figure out what the hell the loud clunk was I found that the exhaust bracket on the cross over pipe that connect to the mount is very close to my frame plate. So when I hit a pot hole or quick bump the bracket hits. Just wondering if anyone has seen this problem and give me any ideas to try to fix this issue. Thanks Its hugely appreciated.

If I understand you correctly, those parts shouldn't be clunking together! Your bike is 10 years old, so I suggest you start by checking the condition of the engine rubber mounts, especially the front one. If the engine is bouncing up and down in the frame, because that front mounts has failed, that is your solution - replace it!

Let us know what you find.
