Hi All,
Here is my 11/82 FXRS
Pretty stock, except the usual culprits (Pipes, Air Cleaner etc)
I do keep checking if it's got oil though as it doesn't leak so it's harder to tell.
Still has the 82 badge on the front fender and by the VIN was born in York.
I am missing the insert for the original air cleaner and am keeping my eye out for one over here but few and far between.
This is my FXR number 2.
Its a 1986 FXRP that was in pretty poor condition when I got it.
It was originally a "Screen" version but it was just a bare bike with a horrid home-made angle iron rear rack.
I have stripped it down and am fitting a 90's Corbin Warbird kit.
I also bought a second hand tank that had been "Stretched" and I hand bevilled it to give me the look I was after.
The original Tank and Guards have been stored away.
Its been a slow process due to a number of issues but slowly getting closer.
