I just put a set of 2009 road glide bars and a set of 4" risers on my 82. No pictures yet because I was waiting on a set of grips. Going to finish it up this weekend.

Anyone know how high a riser can you go and not have to change to extended length on wires and cables?

So...where'd you guys buy the extended cables for taller handlebars? I just bought my first FXR and it's one of the first mods I'll be doing. Thanks!

I think 4" is the max without changing wires and cables..

For what it's worth the only bars that belong on an FXR would be Buck Horns, 7-10".. JMHO....

Talking about handlebars - the buckhorns on my 82 FXR are very different than the buckhorns on my 79 FX. The FXR is narrower with more pullback.
