I have a thread in the engine mechanical forum on my Hillside top end job. Sent my jugs and heads up to Scott at Hillside. He bored the jugs to 83ci (big whoop) and more importantly set my heads up with his stage 2 job. New Wiesco pistons @ 9.8:1. Started this more then a month ago, but for various reasons I just finished up the last heat cycle and test ride today.
Obviously I’m going gentle on the motor with only 5 miles on the rings and cyls, but even keeping it under 3k RPM’s it feels nice. The heads will shine once I get on it, but till then I’m just happy with the silent top end (due to my apparent newly discovered expertise at adjusting valves lol)
