Never owned a firearm with a rust speck on it and I need to ask what is a "forcing one burn mark?" BTW I just bought my last bike in July at Tilly's in Salisbury.

I think he means the Forcing Cone.
The end of the barrel where it meets the cylinder.

Bump for a nice gun. A novice gun owner question, what makes a 700 dollar 357 different from a 450 or 500 dollar one or even a under 400 one?

Colts are one of the most sought after revolvers made. They are also becoming hard to find. If you think this is pricey you should see what people have offered me for my 4" Python. If you ever have a chance to shoot one you'll know. Nice!!!

This Colt Trooper has little wear marks. I looked at one the guy wanted $775 for it and the Colt stamp on the side of the frame was about buffed off. This one is deep and crisp. I guess there are plenty who do not keep them cleaned and oiled and operating as others, I would say it is like a car. Thanks for commenting on my revolver. ( Your Python is probablly going for about $1500 to $1800)
