I've got a stock 88B motor with the Stage I download , SE Intake ,V&H Pro-Pipeand the Pwer Comander III . Will I get or better yet , how much of a TQ/HP increase might I gain over the canned PCIII program .
Know I don't have a race bike and even if it got a big bore/ cam treatment it would still not be a race bike . The power it has is fine for me as I am north of 50 yo . Just curious as to wether the cost of fine tuning the PCIII is worth itor not !
I had basically the same set up as you.Pipes, intake and PCIII and was running a canned map from Power Commander that was almost an excact match for my mods.I had it dyno'd at a run one day.Was only on the dyno for about 30 mins.Cost $150 gain a little over5 HP and 4 ft lbs.I thoughtit was worth it.

I too had pipes, Stage 1 and a PCIII with a pre-loaded map. Same as F.U.I R.S.....had it dynoed, took about one hour and a little, cost $165, gained about the same. Seat of the pants gain was appreciable as well. Also gained back about 5 mpg that I lost when I installed the PCIII. Tuner said the map was a little too rich. Now I am satisfied that I'm getting the best this engine can give without major mods, and that's good enough for me.
