vehicular homicide? nothing is going to happen. the cage driver has plenty of time to get his story right and hire a good lawyer. the motorcycle rider is not going to testify...one thing to consider is that the cops are going to do all they can to make it look like that their buddy was completely in the right and did everything possible to avoid an accident. the only way anything can happen is if the cops fudge the evidence. JMO keep is posted in a couple of years, if this ever goes to court.
None of us have the facts so we are all guessing anyway but using the pic hammz provided it looks like this. At least this would be my guess based on the description and vehicle pics. My thought is that the LEO was beginning his right turn and the driver turned in short at a high rate of speed and hit him. Nothing the LEO could have done if it went down like that.
It says the biker turned right and the SUV was turning into golds gym. Your graphic is incorrect.
TYou can not make a left turn from the road into a parking lot fast enough to throw someone 30 feet.
Judging by the damage to the car's front end I can easily see 30 feet, if not much more.
Front end on that car looks like it ran into a brick wall....at high speed.
My guess is that the TrailBlazer driver was speeding and cut the corner.
Maybe Uncle Larry will let us know what the investigators come up with.
Condolences to the Officer's family and loved ones.
