I am going to call them again today. Since it was not an ebay transaction, there apparently is a window in which they can refund... once that passes, you're basically screwed.
Same goes for ebay...once you open a case, you have a certain amount of time to escalate it...past that date they assume you worked it out with the seller and close the case, which you cannot reopen...I think you snoozed
Hey guys, just want to warn anyone considering to purchase anything from Nash... to just NOT do it. Look them up on BBB. Tons of cases and an "F" rating. Look them up on Facebook and read all the bad reviews, or even just browse some of the picture or status comments. They are riddled with people upset from being ripped off.... Taber Nash is a parasite to the custom motorcycle community and is literally ripping people off. Here's my case..
-Ordered a set of handle bars on 5/8/14. Quoted 4-6 weeks.
-after 8 weeks I called, no answer. Left Voicemail, no returned call.
-after a couple more weeks, same thing, plus email... no answer.
-couple more weeks... call, phone lines are not in service.
-finally emailed saying I would dispute case with PayPal if they cannot communicate with customers. Never heard anything back.
-Called Paypal to get money back. They called Nash, and magically got the owner on the phone... he informed them that the bars shipped but when asked to provide shipping proof he could not. This same day, I finally got an email saying "Sorry we have been very busy your bars are shipping soon".
at this point he has already lied to paypal and to me. I didn't even respond to his email.
a week later I followed up with PayPal. The opened the case, and again I got an email from Nash saying "Your bars are done and ready to ship. You will see a tracking number in a day or two". This was last week.... never heard back.
-got an email from PayPal saying my case was closed because the transaction is too old. I am out close to $500 bucks.
I will get my money back ONE way or another...
So, even if you didn't read all of that... short story is... STAY AWAY FROM NASH MOTORCYCLE COMPANY!!
whatever happened? you get your bars/refund? they told me mine would ship in a week. didn't get them for 7 weeks. 4 months later(this past saturday) the broke at the flange. i opened a case with paypal and they listed it as "different than described" not f-ing broke. so they sided with nash. I'm getting my money back one way or another. the fact that they get away with this s*** kills me.
it took a few weeks but i did get some bars from nash.
pretty hard to get a response but the bars look great!
but .you can see the kinks in the bends and also the paint job is so-so. i know i can use rattle cans and get the same if not better results. easily scuffs and scratches. not worth the money paid for them.
Heres a tip. IF you paid for this with a credit card thru paypal, you can file a complaint against the vendor and paypal with your card. Ive done it and was successful.
