thanx guys,,, I'm pointed in the right direction now,,,,,,
and as stated,,,, If I wanna get some miles on,,, looks like I'll be needing some cold weather gear,,
its the middle of April for cryin out loud!
dont ya hate it when (posts like this) are so big, you have to scroll left to right to read it???
why do some posts do that?????
That's caused by either a very wide pic or a very long unbroken string of text (no spaces) that cannot wrap. In this case, petemac's link is what caused it.
Huh? Mine wrapped fine. I don't think text is the problem since this letter box will only let you type so far to the right. I think the problem happens when you paste a pic into the box and it doesn't handle this the same way it handles the text.

This width problem is driving me nuts!![:'(]
Back to the gloves, though, here's a link to the best
non-electric glove going. Been using mine for two winters
now, no heated grips. My local shop carrys them. I gotta go back to figuring out what you're saying is the width problem cause.
G3 Gerbing heated gloves. Good grip and great quality. I don't use a thermostat, just their lighted switch. Surprisingly, the wires don't bother me. At 40 degrees, I turn them on and off every 20 minutes or so. At 50 degrees, I put the wire up and just wear the gloves. I have not put on any heated grips. I just can't understand how heated grips could warm the outside edge of the fingers, the area that really gets cold.
Try snowmobile gloves. i wore my Arctic Cat gloves the other day
when it was 20 degrees outside. They have much more insulation
in the fingertips than riding gloves. Not from snow country? Try Dennis
Kirk or other sites like that.
