None that I have heard of. A lot of guys use it. Personally I would use the one for V-twin if going to Mobil 1

I used it on my Road King for 45,000 miles and plan to use it on my Limited once it's ready for an oil change. No problems here and the have it at Auto Zone and some Wal-Marts. Vat win formula

Around here M-1 V-Twin is about $11/qt, SYN-3 is $14 -- not "half the price". Like many here, I've used it regularly for engines (Formula+ in trans and primary).

I believe the OP is referring to automotive Mobil 1 15W-50 type vs the M1 specific motorcycle oil. Many folks on here have used it for many trouble free miles.

It will slow your bike down because your wallet will be heavier.

Don't know about the Mobile, but I had a long talk with the Redline rep at a trade show yesterday. Turns out the V-twin and the regular 20-50 are the same formula, just $3 more per quart.
