Man be glad your a LEO and are trained for those exact situations. If it would have been me I probably would have got capped by a punk w/ a gun. Imagine how many of us would have goten into a bad scene in this situation had it got out of control. You did the right thing but by no means let this lil jagoff get away w/it.Do whatever is in your legal powers to let him know what he did was unacceptable. Who better than you , a LEO to show him the light Bust his cocky azz.

ORIGINAL: YUCK

Should have shot him wit your foot....I got into bumper to bumper two lanes merging to one,,,,I took the left lane thinking,,,,they cant pass me on the right,,,,well this big 4 wheel drive blazer,,,starts squeezing me out at the mearge,,,and onto the double yellow,,,,I said"where the f*ck u going As*hole,,,,he flips me off and continues to push....well when I kicked his door in,,,all hell broke loose,,,,he leans out the truck and flips a badge at me,,,,I told him Idon't care if your god,,,,your are threating my life here....and u'r in the wrong...his hand was shaking wit that badge,,,so I told him to stick that badge up his ars,,,or shoot me....well he didn't shoot me,,and I'm still wondering what he did wit the badge.....
both good stories. i had a similar situation with an off duty cop driving a city vehicle while i was in my car a few years back, he caused me to side swipe him or go off a twenty foot over pass he was forcing me into. luckily the state trooper that came saw the city cop as a dick and believed my story as i was calm and collected and the off duty was flippin his lid. trooper told me the guy thought he could do what he wanted cus he was a cop and that he didnt go for that boys in blue BS and wouldnt stick it to me like the off duty was tryn to get the trooper to do.

Thanks for all the input/support/advice. Y'all are right, an impulsive, hothead like this idiot needs to be educated. He will be ultimately responsible for his actions like the rest of normal society. I fully understand that he took off because 1. He was carrying. 2. Outstanding warrants. 3. Stolen vehicle. The saga continues tomorrow. After everything is said and done, he'll think twice about pulling another boneheaded stunt.

I think, since you have burned the plate # into your brain, you should follow up on this young feller. Seems he is just a punk, but what if you were somebody else??, not a police officer.......
What if you hadn't flashed the badge??
I see his behavior a lot in our society. Just maybe a follow up would get him busted.

Glad nobody got hurt.

I'ld bet that he didn't have a gun and was trying to act as though he did because he was trying to scare you. When that didn't work he pissed himself and needed to get out of there to change his shorts.

Please Make an example out of him, notify his insurance company too. They'll love him LONGTIME!

Some times I wish I was GOD... Point my finger at a jerk like that and a BOLT of lightning would vaporate his SUV with him in it. I know that is a 2edged sword, I'd already be dead by now too....

I tell my wife I just hope when they speed away, Maybe they will wrap themselves around a pole up the road. When we go by, I'll watch them crash and burn, and I wouldn't pi** on them if they were on fire. I'm cold ain't I ?

On the positive side... I got some poetic justice a few year ago. I was riding in a 45 zone doing like about 58 so it's not like I was lagging or anything, and this d!ckh3ad in an suv comes up right on my a$$ and tailgates me for a couple of miles. I mighthave just pulled over, but there was no place to do so. This guy then passes me in a double-yellow no passing zone doing like 80. Then, the state trooper passes me too... and nails him. Trooper gives me a nod asI pass them.

I really don't give a crap if the guy wants to speed, but I really did not appreciate him tailgating me like I was some granny doing 20 under. Don't know if anyone else has had an experience like this, but you can imagine how good that felt to see him get busted.

I'm glad you're alright.

If you can, I'd really like to know how things turned out. I'm curious.

How much different would it have been if you'd had back-up ? Don'tcha wish........????

Make the world a better place.

Drive to his house and shoot him.

Just kidding (mostly).
