here in so cal I have three bikes insured with progressive for a little under 300 yes two of them only have liability but for 9$ why not was going to drop the third bike and found out it would cost me more
Progressive here also. Bikes and cars (includes all 3 children, all with accidents) for about $1200. That includes gap on new Ultra SE. We shop it every year and they always give us the best price.
ALL Insurance companies only want the cream of the crop now. After Katrina they still had a 2 Billion dollar profit, They forgot to tell the poor home owners that yes they had full coverage, well kinda, sorta that full coverage, well you needed this little rider attached to it called flood insurance or it didn't include floods. I know this isn't about bikes but it a free overview of the way they think! I well tell you what I do like about insurance companies, ah, ah, ah, no hints please, ah, ah. Oh well maybe something well come to me later. (think I just hurt myself) I even connected all of my three brain cells together on that one, now theirs smoke trickleing out my ears! They're a neccesary evil, there I thought of it!! Go ahead with your battle......
When I bought the bike, the dealer compared insurance costs from four or five providers. Geico and Progressive were the lowest. My niece owns her own auto/ home/ business insurance company and she said to stay away from Geico and go with Progressive. I'm in Pa. and mine is just over $500 a year.
progressive was the cheapest insurance I could find around here.06 Electra glide classic and a 03 sportsman500 with full coverage is 418 a year.geico wanted over 700 for the same coverage.[/align]
I live in Northern California. Progressive quoted me over 2100.00 a year for full coverage. I carry state minimum with another company and pay around 500.00 a year.
I pay 447 dollars per year with progressive, full coverage with a "dissapearing deductible " which means every year without a claim my deductible drops by 25 dollars per year, and it is 75dollars this year. ANd this is for two bikes 03 and an 06 . I am real happy with my premium .
Geico got my business...Progressive is over double what Geico charges. They only got my bike business Geico was over double my auto insurance with Mercury.
