I'm thinking of adding Harley's new Low Single Cartridge Fork Kit
Part Number: 45500157 this winter.
I like doing as much of my own work as possible. Always have, always will. This job calls for quite a few specialized tools though that I don't have.
Has anyone done this or a similar fork cartridge install without them and what did you use to get around some of these tools?
It's for my 2014 CVO Limited. I've done spring jobs on FX's and Sporty's and the like back in the day but it's been awhile. I'm not intimidated by any bike job, big or small, just don't want to tear into it only to get to a point I can't go any further without some expensive tool I'll only use once. Then have to put it all back together and take to the shop.
