Default Any Good Parts/Acc Shops in CT?

Hello:

If any of you know where in CT I can find a GOOD shop carrying parts/accessories, etc., I would really appreciate the lead. I want to look at some new helmets for fit as well as pick-up soem misc chrome, ideally...but would prefer to avoid the dealer...this weekend it will be NUTS...and it is so over the top with HD retail...a bit of a turn-off.

Yes - tons of great online resources...but I want to do some try-ons.

Thanks!

SG

There is Doc's in waterbury, though they were a little rude last time I went in.

I know you don't want to go to a dealer, but Gengras in East Hart carries a lot of aftermarket stuff, Drag specialtys, Kuryakyn, even Red line gear oil.

There are Cycle gear shops in Manchester and Orange, though they tend to sell to dirt as well as street, they do have some pretty good Helmet selections.

Enfield motorsports doesn't sell Harley, but again good helmet selection.

I'm sure there are more, those are the one's i've been to.

Thanks very much Monkyman! I've only lived in CT for four years and travel so much I never searched around much locally.

I am familiar with Gengras...for a helmet (I want something as an alternative to my Arai FF rig), I just don't want all the HD badging, logos, etc all over the thing..as I'd get at a dealer.

Thanks again,

SG

Last summer I was in Groton and was reasonably impressed with Mike's Famous HD. They had a nice selection of stuff and the staff was pretty friendly. I'd give 'em 4 outa 5 stars for the time I was in there.

Thanks, Gerry!

Trying to find a clear shield for my Arai Signet GT is a trick here in CT.

Tempting to ride without the FF lid as this beuatiful weather is now here...but can't justify it...not something I want to deal with during a "get off".

Thanks again.
