In the first place...........aaaaaaaaaagggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhh. ......I realized I'm reading another "wave thread"................got me again..........
If you let go of the throttle and raise your right hand to wave.......the bike slows down
If you let go of the left bar to wave.........then the people behind you think you're making a right-hand turn.......there, I feel better now..................
I think you will find that at Sturgis and other rally sites, nobody waves. You would never be able to ride. It's funny when leaving Texas for Sturgis everyone is waving. Then when you get about two states away from SD there becomes a pilgrimage of bikers and you have to stop waving. But the pilgrimage sure looks and sounds good.
I really mess wit the salute,,,My throttle is pull on push off,,,kinda like full time cruise control,,,so I come across the bars wit a horizonal peace sign wit my right hand....allota double takes....
