Wish y'all would save that bullshit for the appropriate sub-forums. It gets old, and you're not changing anyone's mind. You're just back-slapping.

And yes, I'm a veteran of both the military and riding. Doesn't make my position on political issues any more valuable than anyone else's.

There are only 2 posts on this thread that mentions politics. And without yours, only 1.
Sometimes you are better off just ignoring.

I'm assuming that you're being facetious. Believe it or not, some of us don't hire "them" and we actually work honestly. My conclusion is, that this thread is about the Viability of the AMERICAN "Free Enterprise System". Having any business small or large, takes very serious outlays of money for operating in the black. And virtually all that is invisible to the consumer. But if anyone wants to make this a political POS, 1st read what "Cloward Piven" would do to business in the USA.

Shall I go on? Who, mister narcisist /genius / naive/ cheapskate do you think should pay for this? Maybe you should hire a UNION man to do it next time. Ya make me sick!
How much different do you think it is for a HD dealer? He has the same if not more overhead costs than you do. How often do your customers go on a forum and refer to you as a stealer? Getting the point? HD dealers are in business to make a profit, not to be your buddy, free parts, or coffee provider. If the clowns that use the "stealership" term looked into it, they would discover that the average dealership has a profit margin that is in line with a heck of a lot of other retail businesses. On top of that, I have yet to see where any dealer actually stole anything from anyone. The dealers in my area, and there are a bunch of them, are not living in mansions in gated communities, taking elaborate vacations, or driving luxury cars. They are living in a descent home, driving a Ford, and paying bills just like you and me. People that refer to them as stealerships are ignorant, cheap azzed idiots trying to sound like big shots, but they aren't in my opinion.

I assume most people on this forum have a job. The place where they work exists to make a profit. If the company would not make a profit, they would not have a job. I, for one, am sick of the mentality that is rising on society that making a profit is evil. Don't like the price? Fine. Buy it elsewhere. Nobody is forcing anybody to buy a bike or parts and accessories. The amount of bitching about everything is astonishing. Go out and get laid already!

I Don't think HD parts prices are any worse than others. Try buying boat parts. The Suzuki dealer charged $15 for the oil filter for my last bike. Ever buy appliance parts? They don't exactly give those away either.

My dealer treats me just fine. I usually buy my parts from Surdyke HD because of the 20% discount, free shipping, and no sales tax. However, I sorta feel guilty about not buying from them because I do not want to see them go out of business. The next closest dealer is way far away for me, plus they treat me well.

Because business people are not supposed to pay the rent. They should do for free for everyone. I have "friends" who used to try to use me, still do, they get nothing. They feel I should work on their bike or car for free, now they do not even get advice beyond find someone else...lol
Had one loser who wanted to buy a biketronics system, because of sales tax I was like 819, the direct price was 801. He says, I am going to buy direct to save $20. When I get it can I come to your shop on a Sunday and "we" can install it and new handlebars (for free) you cannot make this crap up
