Why do people like skulls? To each their own. I happen to like/support LEO, military, you know and America. Guess I'm a bad person.

There are a lot of people who don't like police. Why bring attention to yourself or your bike so some scumbag can harm it.

Agreed. If you have those emblems around here, probability is high that your bike is getting keyed, mirrors broken... at an event. Why advertise?

I think people are paranoid sometimes. Especially cops. My bikes have been a lot of places (like Sturgis every year) and no one ever touched them.

Stro-no paranoia here just reality for my area. I have a couple of buddies who bought the Peace Officer's model and both of them were keyed at different times, along with the mirrors bent backwards.
If that is not the norm by you, Great! Ride in peace and security. That is not my reality. And those two guys won't be buying any Police/Peace Officer bike while still in the NY Metro area.

OOH so if it didn't happen to you it doesn't happen, I see! I was told people are killed on bikes all the time and they are very dangerous but since you are still here they must be wrong, wow am I glad I read your post!

Look smart ***, I'm saying there have been a LOT of opportunities and no one ever did anything to my bikes. The OP didn't ask anyone if it was a good idea to mount them or not, so I'm not sure why the conversation even took that turn.
