Wife hates her new Heritage :(

Glad she is keeping it. Now you can make small modifications to make it hers and before you know it, she'll love the bike.

The heritage has the old design bars. I see the sporty has a little more pull back. I'd change out to the newer Heritage bars or something similar with a little less rise.maybe a racetech spring tailored to her weight for the front end for a nicer ride.if you are looking at a Dyna, try and find a 2001 or preferably 2002 lowrider a little lighter than the 06 and above and you will have$$ to customize/ update .

Glad to know that she's keeping the Heritage. Let her readjust herself to her riding style on the Heritage and listen to her. Suggestions, Discussions and Corrections whatever needs to be done where she'll thank you for being patient. Betcha she'll grow to love her Heritage once she 'fits' in.

10 pages so it's already probably been said: SHOTGUN SHOCK.
It might as well be listed as the Softail owner's preferred mod. It's an air shock that lets you adjust height and stiffness to a degree. I have one on my bike pictured in my sig. At 5'10"-5'11", I can easily flat foot my bike when it's slammed. Of course, even with the adjustability, riding it slammed will give you a rough ride, but you can lift it up once you're on the open road or just not ride with it completely slammed.
