Finally got the wife on the Sportster and she loves it so time to move up. And we’ve decided to go with the Heritage just wondering if anyone has opinion’s about the 09’s. How do ya’ll like it?
Thanks Mud Cut

The Heritage is a great bike! I've had mine a little over a week now. I traded my 05 1200C for the Heritage and so far it has been a blast to ride. The bike is very comfortable even stock, I commute to work which ends up being 90 - 100 miles depending on which route so I spend some time in the saddle.
I was also plesently suprised at how agile the bike is. I have had the opinion that big bike would not handle very well in the mountains and curves and boy was I wrong! It handles quite well, the only issue I had was on the tight curves it seemed to want to drift out wards but that could have been me just not use to the bike yet.
All in All I love the bike and I'm looking foreward to putting my mods on. It will probably go in for it 1K service this week.
I love mine, you'll definatelly have to look into a backrest from firehousecustoms.com and floorboard extensions from HarleyGoodies. Another word of advice, if your keeping the windshield on you will want wind deflectors...knocks about 75% of the buffeting out. Ride on...
Checked out that website for the back rest. firehousecustoms.com That is wonderful. I like my stock seat on my Heritage. Did not want to spend the money to get a new seat just to get the back rest.
Bumed they are closed until the 6/29. I would have liked it before we went on our trip.
Bought an '09 white gold/pewter in september, my first bike. I love it. changed out the pipes for vance and hines longshots with a chrome RSD air filter SEST and dyno. Plus a bunch of other catalog money snatchers. Love the ride and sound.
