I saw this nightmare at Bowling Green Harley Davidson today.....It's got to be the ugliest finish I've ever seen on a brand new motorcycle.
Apparently the customer actually had this done and paid someone to do it....
I was telling the parts guy that it was ugly as hell and he told, "Hey, it belongs to the guy sitting right next to you".
I told him, "That don't make it any less hideous".
I thought we just had a thread about not being honest about the appearance of someone else's motorcycle.
We are supposed to lie and say, "looks good man" to every ugly bike we see. https://www.hdforums.com/forum/gener...the-truth.html

I didn't get the memo....Besides, I couldn't look at that finish and ever possibly think of anything good to say about it other than "Hey, at least you can sand it off and start over".
That's actually one of the most original paint jobs I've seen done with skulls in recent years. Skulls to me are a Harley cliche, in general, and I'd never put them on my bike, but I actually kinda like that motif...
Sounds to me you could of lost a tooth or two...Or have you already...
Nothing wrong with being honest...But beauty is also in the eye of the beholder...
As i look at the bike my first thought is...At least no one will steal it.....
Don't reckon it matters what you think of someone else's choice of a paint job.
Reminds me of the guy who rigged a car alternator on his old genny Shovel. It was mounted on the front down tubes and run by a v-belt driven off the generator idler gear. Dude told the owner how ugly it was. Owner responded along the lines of 'don't care what you think, and besides from where I sit, I don't have to look at it.'
Or maybe I could point out that the front wheel in your avatar pic looks like something off an '80s era Honda, and those bikes were plain ugly from front to back. But I won't do that 'cause if you like it, who cares what I think...
