Really??? I just traded up from my '08 Heritage Classic to an '09 Road King Classic. I changed to the Heritage style bars, and then today I put new tires on it.

The guys at Avalanche HD here in Denver could not be more friendly and helpful. New tires, a complete wash and dry, answered all my questions. Dwight there in the svc department is a great guy. We shot the **** for about 15 minutes.

Went across the street. Looked at some t-shirts a crap while I was waiting. And the people there are always friendly and smiling.

I think you get out of life what you put into it. I LOVE MY FKG HARLEY. I can't ride enough. So, sell that Harley and go buy a Schwinn.

OP,

Whats your point? Quitcherbitchin and ride. If that doesn't help you understand, sell your bike. Shouldn't be hard.

Twist,

You and I have gone back and forth to find our mutual respect/ appreciation for each other. You're also pretty much known as the forum d*ck in these parts (due to sheer brutal honesty).

I must say, this post got my literally laughing out loud. Idk why its was so funny but it fit beautifully.

Sounds like a covert Indian dealer posting on our site. Dude I 'll say it again. The whole product line is not accepted in the political correct world and is an insult to the native peoples of the WORLD.

the new 14 1200 sporty custom will be my last harley.

No it won't. In a couple months, when you realize the Sporty is too small & you want something larger, you will make plans to get another lube-free prostate exam at your local dealer. But, if you're smart, you'l buy privately...mint, lo mile, used, & let the original owner take the initial hit & pay the bullshit charges.

I am on my last harley too

See above.

You joined a Harley forum to post that? That's the worst case of buyer's remorse I've seen in a long time.

1. "the bike is over priced to start with"
There are less expensive ones out there. Sell the Harley and buy a cheaper bike.

2. "they want an arm and 2 legs for all the supporting crap that you have to buy to keep it running"
Like what?
You don't have to put Harley oil in it. Use Jocko Putz 10w40 oil for $0.75 a quart. Air for the tires is free. Gas prices are not dictated by Harley. What else do you need to keep it running?

3. "can't see buying a TEE SHIRT for 45 bucks, their 110 anniversary leather for 375 and its made where? IN MALAYSIA"
Agreed. Is anyone forcing you to buy that? You don't need that to ride or keep the bike running.

4. "how much is labor cost per hour? 95 smackers here in the detroit area"
Do the work yourself. Is $95/hour a Harley thing. How much is the hourly labor cost at a car dealer? I'm sure it's very close.

5. "too bad they can't make it affordable for everyone"
Motorcycles are a luxury item. Is everyone supposed to have them? No. If you want one and you can't afford it, work harder or get a second job. How much did you pay for your Sportster 1200 Custom? The 2015 model is $10,649. Most people need a car. The least expensive car is the Nissan Versa @ $12,815. That makes your Harley more affordable.

You need to sell your Harley and buy a Vespa. Wait... a Vespa is $10,499. Forget that. Everyone can't afford it.

Well, that's the top of the line. Still. Low end if $6700.
