Cheap Turn Signal Relocation
After installing my apes on my Fatboy I really wanted to relocate the signals to the forks. I plan on replacing the signals with mirror signals soon so i didnt want to spend the money for the relocation kit. I went to Autozone and picked up a Carburetor Stud kit for a car or truck (american). I threaded a nut on the fine thread side then threaded that end unto the fork tin.using the nut/washer to tighten it. then I threaded the signal onto the corse thread side, the rod was a tad too small so the light would rotate, finally I removed the lense and threaded a nut onto the rod to tighten the signal so it wouldnt rotate. All in all, i think it looks great and it cost me 3 bucks all together. Just an idea.
