Why is the deuce unpopular?

RE: Why is the deuce unpopular?
The Deuce was/is pricey compared to other similar Harley cruisers. That two-toned blue Deuce in my sig caught my eye the very first time I walked into the dealership. I tried to stay away - it cost too much. I thought I'd buy a Sporty custom (always liked sporties). Then I talked myself into a Super Glide Custom (bigger motor but a little more $$$), but that blue Deuce just sat there, and I kept walking back to it. It may have been "lovely" to some, but to me it was BAD A$$. I bought it.
Now it sports a D&D FatCat, dragbars w'8" risers, rear lowered 1.25", tach, custom mirrors, dynoed, etc. etc. I love my Deuce and I honestly would not trade it for any other motorcycle - Harley, metric, or custom.
Ride what you like. I do.

i dunno. . . i don't hate it. you almost always swap out the stock pipes and can do almost anything to a bike after that. it's still a soft tail at heart

thats odd, all the custom bikes have stretched tanks....now i see why everyone hates them....oh, and thats why there has been a deuce on the cover of hot Bike magazine the last two months....

Just my opinion but I think the stretched tank and rear fender
are definently the culprits to its demise
