Just the other day as I was preparing to go for a ride some guy stops his truck in front of me, gets out and walks up to me. He says he was riding his Ducati down 394 and a couple of guys on Harleys split him. He was obviously upset about it but I have no idea what he wanted from me. So I just said take it easy out there man, there's crazies everywhere.
You're not keeping up the HD image. You were supposed to lay him out with one punch.

I had a random guy come up to me and tell me all about a group of Harley riders who passed him going over the North Cascades highway driving all crazy and what not. I don't know if he was looking for an apology and anyone on a Harley would do, or if he just felt like getting it off his chest.
When I had a Honda Shadow I was a member at a Shadow forum. The same mindless crap that takes over the forum here at times is the same over there. Same people, different bikes is all.
My wife and I go out for breakfast every Sunday. The place we go is a little out of town and is a fairly big so a few clubs start their rides from there.
This Sunday as we are leaving, right in front of the door are about 7 bikes. Completely blocking the marked walkway AND the handicap spot.
I walked up to see what bikes they are and you guessed it........ a bunch of Honda Shadows.
I was going to walk back in and show these clowns my Harley membership card and tell them to move the bikes but you can't cure stupid.
This is why we need more SOA chapters, to keep a handle on this kind of stuff.
Hey Pal, It wasn't meant to chap the *** of everyone that rides a Sporty. My point was...how did what they were riding have to do with parking in a handicap zone? Some people are jackasses regardless of what they ride.

I sometimes get the same thing when I'm out on the Ducati. I hear the quick rant about the "@$$hole crotch rocket riders" from the two jack wads at the next gas pump. Then I take off my helmet and they see a 56 year old balding guy with a gray beard and they give me that "WTF?" look. Then of course it's my turn and I ask them...among other things...if their tone would be different if I was gassing up my Evo Road King...which doesn't compute with them because they've already 'profiled' me as a crotch rocket a-hole. D-bags come in all shapes and sizes...and it's fun messing with all of them...
