Default 1989 FXSTC won't start

Hello, got a small problem with my scooter. No spark. Does the 89 FXSTC use a crank sensor? Where is it located?
Bike has a 2000 ignition module and coil. Has current and a good groud.
Don't want to buy parts that won't solve the problem (I'm retired).
If not crank sensor, what else?
I'm stumped.
Thanks

It could probably be the cam sensor in the nose cone. There somewhat notorious for failing. The crank sensor is located next to your oil filter.
