The dealership I go to, has weekend "parties" and they give away food...hot dogs and hamburgers and drinks...almost every weekend. Plus their remodeling the inside to hold more bikes. I guess the new owners are doing their best to have a positive shop.
Harley of Huntington Beach, CA has lots of bikes, lots of stuff, and free hot dogs almost every weekend. Plus a gal who will sew patches onto your jacket. I love that place! Great service department and great sales department. No, I don't work there; just a very satisfied customer.
OP - That photo in your sig is cracking me up. It is a photo of my cousin's grandfather and the grandfather's brother. It was taken in 1914 when the brothers purchased the bikes. They lived in Wanamingo, MN, My cousin still has the original photo and bill of sale. I posted that photo on another board along with the details. Someone copied the photo and has been claiming that it is of the Davidson brothers. It is not. It is Lars Johnson and his brother.
Interesting. Yeah, I got it on another board that said it was Harley and Davidson.
Thanks for the link, that's a great site. Since my siggy isn't really Mr. H and Mr. D, I guess I will change it shortly. It is a neat picture though.
No need to change it on my account. For the last couple years, I have been seeing this photo pop up on dozens of sites, including several dealer sites, all claiming it to by Harley and Davidson. My cousin and I have been getting a good laugh from this mix-up.
