I was there one year........just cruzin back from a ride.
~~~then~~~
The man hit the lights and on his speaker he said " PULL OVER"
I did then on the speaker "hands up... off the bike and walk backwards towards the car"
I'm like HUH !
Then: "raise your shirt......s l o w l y"
Seems Mr. Law thought I had a piece in my belt, butin all actuality I stuff my baseball cap in my belt under my shirt.
He was really nice about the whole thing and just said, "gotta check out this kind of stuff, have a nice bike ride".
I got back on and went about my way.....
completely uncllaed for, the cops are ********* now. Nothin illegally about carrying a piece. Granted it owuld be a sloppy carry if you were but you can carry concealed with a permit all day in Nevada... and in fact open carry as well. Pulling you over for that is UNCALLED for!!!
I had my a$$hole run in last night.
came back early today. law enforcemnet was in full force and was out of control. every time i saw a police officer ther was someone pulled over in front of them. the sobriety checkpoint coming out of oatman was also a little ridiculous. i understand that some shiot went down a few years back and a more law enforcement was needed to make an appearance but it was pretty lame out there. lame enough to make me want to leave for vegas friday night and spend my money there instead.
