Crazy Road
We have both great roads and great vistas.
pikes peak, mt Evans (squaw pass leading up to Evans Rd is better for pure riding but no vistas), trail ridge rd, million dollar highway, Loveland pass, etc are all great scenic vista rds that offer decent riding but not necessarily great riding.
And then you have roads like squaw pass, peak to peak, cache le poudre, 67 from woodland park to deckers, clear creek canyon (if there's no traffic), cripple creek, etc that offer fantastic riding with lots of twisties but not too many tight hairpins that slow you down too much.
And then probably my absolute favorite road to ride in all of colorado for pure exhilarating riding is Dolores Canyon (141) from naturita to gateway. Hardly any traffic whatsoever, plenty twisty with some tight turns but mostly swoopi curves that can comfortably be ridden at 45 or technically pushed at 65ish on a harley bagger. Most turns are not blind so the fact that most of the road goes through open range isn't a big concern. Did I mention it's 50 miles long with zero towns or stops along the way? Add in the beautiful red sandstone canyon walls and the flowing Dolores river and the road is absolute pure bliss.
