Planned to do a day long ride today; backroads of Florida in all its glorious toothlessness. Had my bike all packed with everything last night; camera, etc. Set my phone alarm for 8 AM & was gonna be on the road by 8:15.
Lesson #1...never leave your phone within arm's reach of your bed. I shut the damn thing off & went back to sleep.
Lesson #2...It's June, It's Florida, so it's gonna rain. So, here I am in front of my computer listening to the lightning & watching the thunder & being a no ridin' emmereffer today. Maybe it's a good thing I shut the alarm off in my sleep, otherwise I'd be sitting under an overpass watching this crap, instead of the comfort of my house.
I don't remember the last time I slept until 8 AM. If I did it was because I was sick at the time. 6 AM is the latest for me, any later and I am just burning daylight.
Go to bed earlier Dickey.
Lol, rain is good weather for sleeping or drinking beer. Did the same here and woke up late! Looks like a Miller Time afternoon with BBQ later on. Hope y'all have a good Saturday.
