When I was negotiating the purchase of my 2011 Limited, the sales guy comes back with a number. I asked him to "break it down for me", so he tells me $x for this, $y for that and $z for the maintenance package. I told him, he could take the maintenance package off, I wasn't interested. He looked at me like he's never heard these words before and said , in a very condescending tone "Then how are you going to get your serviced?" I said I do my own service, been servicing my own bikes for 20 years. He said "well Harleys are different". I bought the bike, without the maintenance package, and the only time the dealer has touched my bike since was for the brake switch recall.

I've heard all types of stupid **** before... but I don't make it a point to remember most of it. Usually the "HD hasn't made anything I'll ride since 1999" shuts them up. Most don't even know what I'm talking about.
I'm so glad HD has declared the evo obsolete.... couldn't get OEM parts if I wanted them now.
