I have an 01 Road King (carb) and has been a great bike. Have just shy of 100K on it and have put a lot of money into it but that was by choice for the most part. The only thing that failed me was the swing arm cracked at the axle. That was upgraded in 02 model year from 3/4" to 1" axle and I replaced it. If you plan to do many modifications I think you have more options with the TC88 than the Evo. Not even going to address your third choice as I only care for touring bikes. Just too much more comfortable and the Road King is the most versatile bike HD makes.

I would go for the RoadKing, but ONLY if it is carbed. Do not...I repeat...do NOT buy an '01 or earlier fuel injected bike with the MM EFI. It is impossible to tune, and good luck getting parts.

95 has to be carb'ed, FI wasn't offered until '07.

Actually, the first Harley-Davidson to have fuel injection was the 30th anniversary Electra Glide Ultra Classic in 1995, the FI was an option and it was Magnetti-Marelli and dickey is right, avoid the MM in the pre-02 bikes, they moved to the Delphi system in '02. HD finished adding FI to all models in '07 with the Sportster line.

But you are correct, that '95 being discussed in this thread is going to be a carbed bike...

Yep, and the 01 RK he was looking at has the MM system, which Dickey was also correctly warning against.

Have you ridden any of them or are you just going by looks and mileage?

Man that's tough, I'm partial to that Dyna Glide Sport, but I do like having hard bags too...

I'd buy the Dyna.

You can tell by my user id what I think. My first Harley was a 2000 FXDX(T). As someone else said, it wasn't the "best looking" Harley on the road. But it was really a nice ride. Excellent handling (it has upgraded forks and shocks). I did several 5K mile trips on it. If you aren't going to do a lot of 2 up riding, that's the way I would go. Finally sold it after 10 years because I wanted cruise control, 6 speed and a large fairing with windscreen which make the long rides more comfortable. Also, with a dynojet kit, bub big ***** pipes and SE air cleaner I never ran in to a stage one 96" that could keep up with me. Also, the one your looking at is practically new.

Look no further than my signature picture for my recommendation...Evo. Be prepared to have to search a little harder for parts though.

At the risk of jinxing my next ride, mine is MM FI-equipped and I haven't had a problem with it. I'd prefer a carb' like on the '95 you're considering, which can be easily tweaked (or replaced), but the FI on mine hasn't been an issue.

Ride 'em and decide.
