I'm looking to wrap my vance and hines pro pipe in black . I'm going to wrap the head pipes down to the cone. I know I want one inch, but is one brand better than the other ????

There are lots of exhaust wrap to chose from. Not to discourage you, but keep in mind if it rains and the wrap gets wet it can cause rust on the pipe itself.
Take your time wrapping them, and post pics when you are done.
DEI titanium wrap is pretty good. I used it on a Thunderheader I had a while back and it worked great. You didn't need to soak it in water before applying, and it did a good job of keeping the pipes from getting too hot.
