If your bored and want to read up on another future competitor of the sportster, google "project 156". Indian Scout engine highly modified. Should be in a Victory production bike by next year. I could never understand why Harley is afraid to use it's engineering prowess. The Sportster should be it's priority right now, without it no new blood to fill the spot's of all the old men who are withering away. I can tell you that my generation likes performance and the Sportster doesn't have much sport. The EVO has lived long enough, give us something breath taking already.

110 for a fatboy & slim but the touring lineup remains the same? Not sure how much sense this makes. Maybe I'm just upset because we're in the market for a touring bike.

What should have been in the 2016 lineup, but wasn't:

- Road Glide Special TC
- Street Glide Special TC
- Road King TC

.... all three being a "twin cooled" version of the bike, with the TC heads, high output engine, and engine guard lowers/radiators.

Yea, I completely agree. The Periscope thing didn't seem very well thought out.

I LOVE my sportster and I'll never let her go, but HD does an incredible job of making a ton of money on an outdated poor performing fleet of motorcycles. Sport bikes are in a golden age. Polaris is doing truly exciting things. And we pay a premium over all other brands for suspension that should have been upgraded decades ago along with new paint. And don't try and call me a troll. It's true. And I love my Iron 883... After modifying it all over the place... For even MORE money LOLOLOL!!!! Clearly, I'm a dummy.

The MoCo doesn't want to alienate their aging demographics by making drastic changes, even if it's the right path for the long haul. The Sportster is a very good bike, but there's great bikes for less money to choose from. The suspension upgrade is a step in the right direction. Maybe one day a 6 speed tranny.
