Because if it is, I would still ride with him but be careful about where you both went.
Keep in mind if you're having a beer with him a bar fight might break out and you'll be obliged to help. That's just what beer and riding buds do, but he'll have to defend that patch with his life. I just couldn't stand there while a buddy got trashed in a fight, even though I'm a 50+ year old man.
Also keep in mind no matter what happens with him you can never talk to the cops about it. It just ain't done, no excuses. Riding is definitely going to be more risky with him, but I'd never let that stuff get to me. I would just go with it and let fate handle the rest. You know, life is like a box of chocolates and all that.
No issue here. I regularly wear a vest and carry a gun myself. I'm not a club member, to each his own.

for me, I call very few my brother...to me that is something that you earn...just because we ride together does not make you a "brother" if you will....friend...sure...brother is reserved for those that have earned that....
hope that makes sense??
Very much so! Well said!
I have many friends, but very few Brothers, and I am an only child. LOL

threads like this are so painful to read sometimes. to the OP do you have friends who hunt? if so stop being friends. obviously this guy is not prospecting for a 1% club if he is taking off his "cut". no 1%er would. if your so uptight about him carrying ask him why he is. Dont get on here and cry to us about it. I would also like to point out as someone else did this to me seems like a wanna be SOA situation. Your friend is not the only one guilty of this. you are as well. reason I say this is because you ride around with him asking for permission from us. for something you obviously think is wrong or stupid. guilty by association ? that's a matter of opinion. im guessing just guessing since I have never seen a reply either your trolling or he is part of some small club trying to be a soa wanna be. so be a man make your own choices and deal with them.
To you guys who do carry and im talking to the ones who use the term gat and refer to shooting at cager's (read the post you will see who it is). I have to say to you people your guns should be taken away! your morons and have no need for a weapon. don't give me this 2nd amendment crap. no responsible gun owner makes comments such as I have seen. And everyone wonders why people scream for more gun laws.
YOUR NAME IS NOT JAX TELLER. Be a freaking adult. you are the worst of the SOA freaks out there. and if any of you ever had a gun pulled on you in return you would crap your $150 Harley Kevlar jeans. real men don't need guns. wanna carry a weapon? carry a rock. any agruments as to why you carry a gun I will and can systematically disprove. and don't give me your home town is rough. I have lived in Chicago, again these comment are directed towards the I carry a gat and there are stupid cager's out there type of people
Jeez I've used the word "gatt" since I was a kid. Have no intention of shooting anyone. But ya gotta admit that slit in the seat on a bagger is a genius creation by H-D if you absolutely gotta have protection and don't want to carry. Also a great place for a bag of weed. Just fart before you hand your license over, you should be cool.
Do you carry when riding your bike but not when driving your car? Why?
Rode with a group of 7 the other day. Reminded me why I don't ride with groups. I want to enjoy riding my motorcycle, not play Billy Badass in the streets or be followed around by the cops.
If we walk into a bar and you're an idiot and start a fight, no, I'm not going to finish the fight you started. And no, I'm not going to get drawn into a conflict because you choose to wear some turf symbol on your back. Grow up.
