Need some advice on a good mesh jacket. Starting to get pretty warm here and am thinking I better start looking for something a tad bit cooler than leathers

Power Trip Voodoo. Lots of board members have it, great jacket, especially for this price.
Wow..that is a nice looking jacket and exactly what I am looking for. I just got done ordering it, great price too. Thanks bro!

I swear by my "Intake Air" mesh jacket by TourMaster
I've been looking at the TM Intake, among others. Do you wear it all summer in Kingman?

There are a lot of new mesh jackets out this year. Most have removable liners and retail for around $140. they all give about the same protection so just pick out one that you think looks the best. Online sites like Newenough.com are good sources, most are offering free freight and no sales tax. Google "mesh motorcycle jackets"

I've got 4 now. Just got a new Vanson that is more like a shirt than a jacket. It has very open mesh, very good armour but no pockets, no liner, no frills at all but manthat thing really lets the air in!It's so light and cool I leave it on during rest stops.
Harley shops have them for $130 but they have a Buell patch on the shoulder. I got mine at a metric shop with no Buell advertisment but it cost an extra $10.

I live in southern NM. I have a Teknic "Supervent" jacket that I've had for 5 years. I throw it in the washer...armour and all...and it has held up very well. Had ridden in 100+ temps in it, no problem.

You may want to check out the Tourmaster Flew Jacket. From what I can tell it's the sme as the Flex jacket from Harley without the "foot high" lettering. I got mine from Helmet harbor. Good luck on your decision!

You can also do a google search for the jacket and I've seen them on E-Bay for 179. Which is what I got mine for from Helmet Harbor

I have a Firstgear Mesh-Tex jacket. I love it. I got it in black and it does not make you look like a sport bike rider. I have worn it on days in the high 80's and you stay comfortable as long as you are moving. It also has a liner you can add so that you have some protection when you leave on a cold morning and you can take it out later. I has built in armor also. Makes me feel much safer on the highway. 70 in a t-shirt is cool on a hot day but I never hesitate to wear the jacket if it is below 90.

I was out riding earlier, with my Power Voodoo jacket on. It was around 90 degrees and a bit humid. The jacket is like having air conditioning. The wind goes through the holes in the mesh and circulates on the inside.

I have a Firstgear Mesh-Tex IIIjacket. Mine's in silver. I'll agree with everything said above. If you take a spray bottle with you and spray your shirt a little every so often... it'll keep you cool in the 100* days too... as long as you're moving.

Glad to hear it! The price can't be beat and it looks damn good (no billboard for me!). Can't wait till it arrives
