Default Key FOB programming

So I bought a 2011 Wide Glide from an insurance auction. Bike had a bit of damage that was easily fixed. The bike did not come with the key FOB. So after ordering the part from Dealer they told me once it came in that it could only be programmed by them. IS there any other options to have this done? I am over an hour from the dealer and would have to rent a trailer to get the bike there casue I have a short box truck. Any help would be great..

I am almost certain you need to bring it to the dealer with proof of ownership. How secure would it be if someone with access to your bike could just buy a remote and program it for your bike if you left it unlocked?

Correct, the dealership needs to marry the FOB's to the bike.

Make sure to do yourself a favor when you get the Fob programmed and set your own manual override code.

Doesn't anyone else think it's strange that someone with three posts in this forum is asking how to activate a FOB without getting the dealer involved ??????????? The bike might be hot.

If he doesn't know the over ride code,or doesn't have an active working fob,The dealership can't even program a new one.

Just replace the TSSM with a used TSM and forget about security. $50 on ebay and you are good to go.
