Harley Importation

I know this question was probably addressed many times here. Is Deeley still still not issuing a letter of recall for salvaged harley's coming from the united states? is there anyone on here that has ever brought in a salvaged harley from the usa? is it possible to get a letter from a deeler in the states somewhere to do this? any help would be appreciated.

Deeley is not the importer/distributer for HD in Canada anymore. Hd themselves are now doing that themselves.

So if HD is doing it directly do you know if they will issue these recall clearance letters for salvaged motorcycles??

If you call any dealer, they should be able to run your vin number for recalls. I have a usa model and had to have the recalls checked before it being put in my name.

Yeah, i dont think there is an issue with clean title harleys, but i think there is if the harley was smashed and has a salvage title. i am hoping i am wrong. I want to buy a smashed harley in the states and once its here i can dress it the way i want.
