Takes a special kind of entitled POS scumbag to take something that doesn't belong to them and that they haven't earned. Too bad you didn't catch them in the act. Regardless - sorry to hear. Reminds us all to take as much precaution as we reasonably can.
Is it worth checking the bank's security cameras? Maybe the POS parked next to your bike and the license plate is visible?
That's what I was thinking. Seems there's cameras everywhere today especially around a bank. Some places won't let anyone but the Police review the tapes. Worth a check though.
Nothing to do with bikes, but I got to help provide justice to a different kind of thief today. I was on a jury in a welfare fraud case. Found her guilty on five counts of perjury and one of welfare fraud. Hope she likes wearing orange.

I, and the other 11 people on the jury have no doubt. The evidence was plentiful, well documented, clear and convincing.
We did find her not guilty on the one count where there was reasonable doubt. That is, reasonable doubt in the legal sense. She may well have been guilty of that charge also, but we felt there was insufficient documented proof of that one charge.

Are there cameras? If so, take a look. You got the general time-frame. Let us know what you see. What if it turns out to be someone that works in the building or someone you know?
