In 1988, BMW marketed the first series of motorcycles with ABS. The K100. It was arguably the most significant safety innovation in Motorcycling history. Not on the list, nor is any other BMW. Pretty lame.

This is an absolute fact. The CB750 changed the motorcycling world. It finished the British motorcycle industry.

Agreed. The Z1 was in the design phase when the CB750 came out so Kaw went back and made it bigger before it's release. Honda's answer was GL1000 but it really wasn't the performance bike they hoped it'd be. Luckily, it took off in the touring market and became the Gold Wing. So I guess we could add the GL1000 in there too. Lucky for Craig Vetter too.
