I'm getting ready to take the bike apart to send out about 25 pieces for powdercoating. I actually took the time to see what it would cost to buy them from HD ~~~~ $3k!!!!!!
I called one of the top places around Atlanta, Miller's Powder Coating and asked for a ballpark. I rattled off the parts that I wanted to have done and he said $250 to $300.
Even if it is "one of the top places" make sure you look at the quality of the work. It can vary substantially.
I've had stuff done at various places and had some spectacular results and some downright sh!tty stuff too. My most common complaint is dirt particles in the coating. Another is a coating that is too thick and is dang near running off the edges.
I found a good powder coating place near me with some reasonable prices. I still have to work on the back half of the bike. I told the guy that would be when it gets too rough to ride like Jan- Feb. I like the way my old road King is looking.

Agree. Seen a ton of their work from other Harley owners around town. Great work.
