I have a 2011 Ultra classic with a 96 cu motor . Any suggestions on going to a 103 kit for $300.00. Or go up to a 110cu for $ 950.00.

I guess it depends on how much more power you're wanting and how much you're willing to pay.

My friend has a '10 Ultra with the 96 T/C engine.
It ran very hot from the day he bought it new and even he said that he had a hard time keeping up with my '00 88 T/c that had been upgraded to a 95 Big Bore Kit.
He eventually (due to the heat damage to his engine) had it upgraded to a 103 (dealer installed).
He was/is very satisfied with the 103 and says that is has much more pickup than the 96.
I now have a '13 T/C 110 and he says it has more pep (we don't race) than his 103 and they didn't nearly identical fuel mileage.

You didn't give us a whole lot of info to go by on your bike - have you done an A/C, exhaust pipes & tuner yet? That would be a good starting point for a little better performance....
And welcome to the forum...

I went from a 2007 dyna super glide with 96 ci engine and stage 1 done to my 2009 ultra classic with 96 ci and stage 1 done. Even though the ultra classic is heavier, it still has plenty of power for me.

Increasing cube size isn't the best way to get more out of an engine. It's better to buy ways to improve the engines throughput using better intake airflow, cams, and exhaust.

$300 is just for the jugs. Are you doing the labor?
Around $2000 if you let a dealer do the R&R.
I rode both 96 and 103. Not worth $2k in seat of the pants improvement.

Oh no 300 for pistons rings , jugs . This guy bought a brand-new road king that has 700 miles on it and he's going to a 110 kit and these parts came off of his bike. It's about $250 cheaper than going brand-new
