ABS has never saved my *** but I am sure glad I have it just in case. That being said my other 2 bikes do not ave ABS. I am a little more cautious on the brake levers on these two bikes.

Put me as a +1 on ABS as well. My bagger has it, my bob doesn't - and I miss it on the bob...

Yeah, I'd pass on a non-ABS bike to get one with it. Especially a bagger.

I have it on my street glide and don't have it on my evo heritage. I've locked up the rear on the evo a few times and was lucky to ride it out and keep it upright. Like the poster said...good luck not locking in a panic stop situation. My heritage never goes on road trips anymore because the street glide with ABS is just much better equipped for riding in any and all conditions. As everyone has said, do yourself a favor and don't buy a bike without ABS.

I'm guessing you meant without.

And I'll reiterate that I agree. Even on an older bike. I would just make sure to make the necessary changes to get the most out of it.

Thanks for catching that. I definitely meant without.
