Default Saddlebag cushions

Has anyone figured out a way to keep their rubber saddlebag cushions from falling off the bottom of the bags?

I don't have that issue on mine.....yet. Have you considered some type of adhesive such as epoxy, or 3M VHB double sided tape ?

There's rubber cushions on the bottom of the saddlebags that can fall off?

I took the rubber cushions off the bottom of my stock bags and put them on a set of stretched bags I bought - I had to pry them off the stock bags with a screwdriver - not sure how they would just "fall off"?????
Please explain......

Yes, they are known for falling off when you remove your saddlebags. In the past, when removing my bags to clean, I have had one or two fall off. Or sometimes they will just stick to the arm under the bag. I have an '11 FLHX and got a call from the dealership yesterday and a buddy of mine who does all my work said I had one missing and the bar was beginning to eat into my bag. HD keeps them in stock for $10/piece...smh. For those wondering, I'm told it's a very common thing and here's the piece I'm talking about: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B006YYPBD2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awd_ul2TwbH1X0898

Maybe because they changed the design on the Rushmore where they now have 2 rubber grommets that go into the bottom of the bag, is making a difference

If your a clean freak like me, your constantly taking your bags on and off, to not only clean behind them, but to get to those white walls. Yeah, they used to stick on the bar mount. I simply used some crazy glue and glued them to the underside of the bag and now they come off with the bags, and stay stuck to the bags.
