RE: Let's see who's had the most Motorcycles.
I'm not going to play, in my younger years (mid 60's) I used to buy basket cases, fix them and sell them. I can remember at least a dozen British bikes before I went into the service. I had 4 Hondas while in, and a bunch after I got out. There has always been a couple of bikes in various stages of dis-rapair in the garage...therapy for a sick mind. These are the last two we did before we bought the '03 and '04.
Now that I'm retired street bikes are too expensive to play with. Got 3 old dirt bikes ready for the wrench, 1 is an old Husqvarna that used to belong to Steve Mc Queen

but let me say screwball those 2 bikes are sweet...
Well Thank-you Eagle. Still have the Sport, wife couldn't part with it. We keep it at our Arizona house. The Springer was a fun project, the original was barely running when I brought it home. I didn't do the major engine work, no machine shop. Just the disassembly and assembly. The paint was from Fuchsart in Tennessee. Found him on the internet, "E" mailed back and forth, mailed him my tins, and 3 weeks later... Sold the Springer for enough to pay for my Wide Glide, and a mean down payment on wife's Nightrain. A young kid bought it. Told him if I ever saw it again screwed up, I would show him how mean an old biker can get. His father was with him and said he would hold him while I beat him... another old biker.
