...thought about it tonight, but I'm pretty tired and rather deal with Saturday afternoon traffic for my first ride since December. Pretty excited though!
Saturday update:
So the first excursion of the year went well I'm happy to say. Roads were good, not too much gravel and salt so I ended up riding a little more than a hundred miles (a February first). The restaurant owner in Hell actually came out and took my picture as I was one of the first bikes through for the year. She said I'll end up on the Hell, MI facebook page which is about as famous as I'll ever get! Got back into the groove quickly and feel good on the bike. If the weather guys are right, this will probably be the last opportunity for me until Spring begins - glad I made the most of it.
Yea, it's got to be dry. I don't know where you are, but we have a 15 or so mile metro park here that they don't salt (it's closed when it snows). I might stick to that. I'm a bit concerned that powdered salt could be a bit slippery

It's cool. I and some friends store our rides at local motorcycle dealers for the winter so I couldn't ride even if I want to. Enjoy your ride. The weather is awesome for this time of year.
