Saw these on another forum. Ignore the online price. They are on sale/clearance at the store for $9.00. Just thought I'd pass on the info. Not sure I posted this in the right spot...
Yeah, well, ya get what ya pay for.
I wouldn't trust a $9 chinese walmart knock off of a battery pack like that to be any good after the fourth day.
If you pay Walmart couple bucks more, you get a 3 year warranty... 12 for this is good...
Applies to apples, all these things are comparable, if the numbers are comparable, brands are not important..
This thing is rated 12000 mah that's enough to start V8 at least twice
Dude, the primere modle of these things can hold a charge a minimum of 6 months,, the one I have started a chevy 350 in -10degree weather 4 months after it's last charge.
Now I understand technical advances, but to believe this thing is the real deal with the same kind of reliability,, is just plain dumb.
Better read the fine print on the warranty, sending it back to china, waiting for verification, then return shipping through customs?? Is going to take 3 months.
Go for it,,
I picked up three for $9.00 each. Opened one up, charged it, and then started my son's truck ( Diesel Chevy ) with it. Works fine and takes up little room in the saddlebag. Might come in handy one day. You might need a jump and I'll be close by. :>)
