That's pretty much my schedule. I commute to my day job on the bike on week days and we ride for pleasure on nice weekends. The problem is that if the weather is nice enough on the weekend to be out there cleaning the bikes we've usually got better things to do such as ride. My wife does get a bit ticked if it's been a while since the last cleaning and I take the cleaner of my two bikes. I keep telling her that it only means I've got to clean two while she only has to keep one clean. I think my logic eludes her.

ok, on a serious note, I wash mine 3-4 times a year and do mini wipe downs and details in between. Every time I wash, it gets a coat of carnauba wax. That helps with the bugs. Bike brite usually gets most of the grime off.

My first post wasn't serious,( the one about not riding at all or riding in the rain to wash the bike ) the second one was seriously what I do in regards to cleaning my scoots. I try and not spend too much time detailing and more time getting the bike dirty.

I'll wash mine after riding along A1A a few times, and quite often during "Love Bug Season". I use Lucas Slick Mist after washing. Its a spray-on speed wax and can be used on a wet or dry bike. Good on paint, not much on chrome.
