Default chocks

condor chock vs wheeldock chock...for a ultra classic. seems like the condor is rated pretty high but how difficult is it to "pull Back"out of the chock???

Condor is cheaper. Only advantage. Period.
Friends and I have 4 wheeldocks between us now. No suspension loading, easy in and out solo, but costs more...

I have a condor and love it. Remember everyone as an opinion, doesn't make them right or wrong.

I don't use my Condor for transport, just for parking in the shop. I like that I don't have to secure it to the floor, this allows me to use it anywhere I want to. It is a bit difficult for me to back my ride off. Part of that is I'm short.

Have used condor for several years now. Can be difficult to back out of at times. No other issues.

Condor is only a pain some times to back out of if not secured to the floor. When I use it on the p-up truck, it is secured and zero issues. In the basement, sometimes the Road Glide does not want to come out, just drags it across the floor. Get someone to stand on Condor, bike comes right out. Never had an issue with the smaller bikes.

I have the Condor.
I use the trailer docking kit in my trailer and just have it simply velcro'd in my garage to keep it from sliding when I dock the bike.

To un-dock the bike I just simply push forward and then pull back.
If it doesn't completely un-dock, I hit the front brake and repeat.

When I first got the Condor I did have a issue with it not wanting to let go but then after adjusting it and figuring out a technique it's no problem.

The Wheel Dock doesn't look to be as heavy duty as the Condor but appears to be a decent product and looks to be rather simple to use.
Perhaps that's the advantage of it.
In the video, the guy appears to effortlessly just roll the bike out.

I like the solid construction and simplicity of the Condor but I'm biased.
I think the pricing for both are about the same.

If you go with the Wheel Dock how about starting a review thread of it.

I have the Condor with the mounting kit on my trailer. Never any problems. I do like that it seems to be more secure than some other chocks I've seen (but admittedly not used myself).

I have had no issue with the chock moving while backing out(it sits on the interlocking garage floor panels), it just seems hard to rock out of the cradle.

I bought the harbor freight wheel chock a few years ago for the Sporty. liked it...it worked well. used it on the Street Glide and kept pulling it back out of the garage trying to get the front end over and off. Did some searching and bought the WheelDock. love it! The bike rolls right in, the cylinder pulls the rear plate up. and the best part is it simply rolls back out of the chock. no up and over trying to get off the rocker. Expensive but to me, it is worth it. use it all the time.
