ORIGINAL: LowriderFXRS...Bell used to be top-of-the-line helmets, but they're just junk today.
I had Bell helmet back in the 70's. They used to be THE STANDARDfor helmets...Everyone wore them back 'in the day'...But....When I was looking in the early 90'sfor an AMERICAN made helmet...Well..Bell had went to Europe (probably to China now)...Litigation, BS restrictions, etc...I'd love to buy an American Made helmet that didn't feel like I was wearing a refrigerator on my head...But no company wants to buy into the litigation.
I ride without a helmet when the **** law's allow...

I remeber how cool it was to have a Bell Star OffRoad Helmet in 1975!It was the drag racing helmet with the smaller opening. No peripheral vision, had to keep turning my head from side to side.
