Battered and deep fried fish tacos should be outlawed!
Chickin, I agree with you on the pineapple on a pizza, r even a burger. But fish tacos are a little piece of heaven in a tortilla! It's one of my life's missions, to search out great fish tacos.
Here's a tip on that...
Mexican food places, where one would EXPECT good fish tacos, rarely have 'em. Even near the coast. Some of the worst I've ever had was at a Mexican food place in Pismo Beach.
To get good fish tacos, go to a seafood place that has fresh fish daily.

Blasphemy!!! There is nothing better than some good battered and deep fried tacos. But you have to do it right. The batter has to be light, you have to use the right fish, and you need the right toppings to pull it off. There's a place that I found in Tucson that quite literally had the best fish tacos I've ever tasted. And it wasn't even a restaurant; it was a roadside tent!

That last pics is killer! Kinda made for a desktop wallpaper. Good for you to get some riding. My bike is still at shop for some major tranny work and won't be back for another couple of weeks. I am jonesing for getting a ride in!

Man, I agree that roadside food stands! Sometimes they have the best stuff around. Some of the best carne asada tacos I've ever have were from a roadside place close by in Fresno. If nothing else, Fresno has a YUGE mexican population, and if you want authentic Mexican, yeah baby! But you better be able to speak a little spanish too!
